Delays in the launch of Shibarium is something we should be used to by now. Both the documentation of SHIB’s second layer and the project itself are shrouded in mystery. However, thanks to BONE, something is beginning to happen. Is it time yet?
BONE to fuel Shibarium
In our articles we have already mentioned a couple of times the essence of BONE for the Shibarium solution. In the face of new developments, it is worth recalling that this coin will be the payment tool in the Shiba Inu second layer solution.
These, in turn, have been awaited for quite a long time. It should be recalled that its release was supposed to take place even before the end of the third quarter of this year. So far, the last month of the fourth quarter has begun, and tangible solutions are still lacking. Also worrisome is the relative silence of information, the absence of any leaks or deadlines on the matter. The only indication that suggests complex work on a second-tier solution is that Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, recently declared his total dedication to the matter.
Shibarium itself for the Shiba Inu ecosystem is of colossal importance. Its goal is to free itself from the burdens that accompany a project built on Ethereum. It will lower transaction costs, while serving to increase transaction speeds.
Does BONE predict the release of Shibarium?
Once again, mysterious tweets indicate that there is something going on around Shiba Inu L2. This time it comes via BONE’s Twitter profile, where the following was posted on Thursday, December 1:
An exploding volcano appears in it, as well as a brief but relevant reference: “bone before shibarum.”
This seems to be part of the process of preparing the community for the coming changes. This can be evidenced by the fact that just two days earlier, on the same profile, we found other interesting words:
“I want to tell you a secret when Shibarium arrives, on Twitter we will see more than a million hashtags named Shibarium. What does this mean? All Twitter users will understand Shibarium and understand that BONE is the key to using Shibarium!”.
SHIB consolidates, BONE climbs
As I write this article, the Shiba Inu is still in a broad consolidation zone. On a closer look, this gives the coin a 12.6% increase from the local bottom reached on November 22. The price we currently see on the chart is $0.00000922. BONE, on the other hand, is showing much more strength. It reached a local bottom on the exact same day as Shiba Inu, but has since risen 35.3%. Thus, BONE is oscillating in the area of $0.82.
