Ripple announces major collaboration for XRP Ledger based game Maladroids

Revolutionary change in SEC's approach: XRP deemed worthless - The right way to go?

One of the leading platforms influencing music integration is entering into a partnership with Ripple. This will significantly improve the experience of the upcoming blockchain-based game Maladroids.

Styngr joins forces with XRPL

The Styngr platform is known for integrating music for both the metaverse and games. Today, it is teaming up with XRP Ledger to support Ripple in developing a blockchain-based game. As part of the collaboration, a radio station will appear in the game, along with an electronic dance music (EDM) playlist. In addition, Styngr has partnered with Dutch music label Armada Music. Thanks to it, selected tracks coming out from its wings will be presented. The game will also feature works by EDM artists such as Tom Staar and Kryder. Both of them will release two tracks per month for Styngr.

Alexx Tarrand, who is the co-founder of Styngr, does not hide his excitement about the collaboration with XRPL:

“We’re excited to work with record labels like Armada Music to bring brand new tracks from some of the best EDM artists to blockchain games that leverage the best-in-class capabilities of XRP Ledger.”

Breakthrough moment for Maladroids

Kaj Leory, CEO of onXRP, points out that joining forces with Styngr and Ripple is a significant step for the development of the Maladroids game:

“It’s not every day that independent game studios can release new music from well-known artists, and to do so from the release of the first level is an achievement for our brand. We’re excited that players can enter Maladroid and compete with friends and strangers alike while discovering great new music from Tom Staar and Kryder.”

While Ripple is still struggling in its legal battle with the SEC, it has set its focus on further development. Blockchain gaming is becoming increasingly popular and is even a magnet for users. Taking care of their music experience is an excellent endeavor in this aspect.

What is Maladroids all about?

The premise of the Maladroids game seems quite simple. Within its framework, players will compete in teams of 10 people. The essence of the game is running with obstacles, requiring both speed and agility from users. The game includes Play-to-Win capabilities. This will give players a chance to engage their OXP and XRP in a larger pool. The one who finishes the race first will become the owner. For Ripple, Maladroids is the first game launched on the native blockchain.
