Shiba Inu (SHIB) reveals plans to enter the Metaverse

Shiba Inu SHIB

Big excitement in the ranks of Shiba Inu fans. The most popular meme coin of the past year, officially announces its entry into the Metaverse!

A thrill and a big announcement

On January 19, the Shiba team posted very mysterious content on their Twitter profile. It read “Something is getting ready” and featured a blurry graphic where the figure of a dog was visible.

5 days later, everything became clear and to the eyes of meme coin fans, the same graphic that had already been discovered appeared, with a breaking news about the upcoming expansion of the Metaverse sector. It reads as follows:

“As promised, we are very excited to announce our first special surprise this year #ShibArmy!

We are reaching new heights in 2022 and welcoming #Shiberse. An immersive experience for our ecosystem and the Metaverse space!

We can’t wait to show you more. Woof!”

In a later announcement, Shiba Inu watchers were informed that work on a Metaverse based on a dog-inspired coin is steadily progressing. One of the first things to be announced in the coming days will be the official name of the project, currently operating under the codename SHIBerse.

It’s worth noting here that the SHIB developers are not only entering the Metaverse, but are also announcing the event as the first surprise of the current year. The segment that SHIB is venturing into has been steadily gaining popularity and is considered to be one of the driving forces behind the current bull market. Especially since the company behind the largest global social media outlet, Facebook, has changed its name to Meta. This highlights the relevance and value of this technology industry, in terms of the near future.

Will this be the impetus for another SHIB coin rally?

The Shiba Inu (SHIB) is a coin that has garnered immense popularity. It was created in 2020, only to experience huge increases shortly after. The year 2021 was the time of its market expansion and its breakthrough to even get into the top ten coins with the highest market capitalization. Despite its short existence, speculators buying it early on have been able to earn up to tens of millions of percent so far. This is a result that few projects can boast. At the time of writing this article, SHIB is trading nearly 75% below its ATH. However, the expansion of the Metaverse sector, as well as new surprises that are prepared for fans for the current year, may cause further significant movements in the valuation of the coin.
