Elon Musk introduces Burnt Hair perfume, purchasable through Shiba Inu

Elon Musk is embarking on another very interesting venture. From now on, he becomes a seller of perfumes, which can be purchased with SHIB, among other means. Sales have skyrocketed.

Musk and his adventure with cryptocurrencies

Elon Musk is a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency community. He is currently the richest man in the world. Musk heads brands such as Tesla and SpaceX. The former company is engaged in delivering electric vehicles to the market, while the latter is driven by the idea of conquering space, and in doing so, settling Mars.

Among other things, Elon Musk has become famous for his support of Bitcoin. In early 2021, he revealed that Tesla, which he manages, had purchased a sizable amount of BTC, and in time he also allowed cars to be purchased using the leading cryptocurrency. Over time, however, he had to abandon the idea, and after nearly 1.5 years the company’s BTC holdings were also significantly depleted. Elon has also always blazed an undefined love for Dogecoin. This cryptocurrency-meme was often the main character of his social media posts. Meanwhile, Shiba Inu was also in the circle of interest.

The shopping frenzy around “Burnt Hair” and Shiba Inu

Musk doesn’t seem to be stopping at market expansion, via Tesla and SpaceX. He has formed a company called The Boring Company, which trades in a new brand of perfume called “Burnt Hair.” The eccentric billionaire changed his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman” on this occasion, and called the hit fragrance the greatest on Earth. The new product is not among the cheapest. Its price is $100 per vial. The sales figures for such a unique product are shocking. Within hours of the launch, Musk’s account received one million dollars. This means that exactly 10,000 units of the product were sold during that time. But what does perfume have to do with SHIB?

“Burnt Hair” with the ability to purchase via crypto, and including Shiba Inu

It turns out that the hit fragrance “Burnt Hair” can be purchased using cryptocurrencies. The website of The Boring Company has integrated with a payment system owned by BitPay. BitPay is the world’s leading provider of services supporting commercial transactions, using virtual assets. Thanks to the cooperation, as many as 15 different coins can be used to purchase perfume, including, of course, Shiba Inu (SHIB). This kind of support once again shows that Musk is still a supporter of crypto. The currently prevailing bear market has not been able to change his mind in this aspect.
