Shibarium is gaining in popularity, Puppynet data reflects

Shiba Inu

The beta testnet for Shibarium, known as Puppynet, is currently experiencing a remarkable increase in user engagement. More than 121,000 transactions have already been processed, while the number of wallet addresses has reached as many as 65,000.

Shiba Inu community experiences success again

One Shiba Inu influencer, known as Lucy, recently shared statistics on the growth of the Shibarium test network. At the time of that publication, Puppynet had processed 109,655 transactions involving 57,781 wallet addresses. Both of these metrics look very impressive, indicating a clear interest in solving the second layer of the dog coin.

It is possible that this news was the catalyst for further increases, as just two hours later the number of wallet addresses jumped 13%, recording a value of 65,403.

The number of transactions also recorded a positive reaction. This, in turn, was up 11%, reaching a value of 121,932. In addition, daily transactions on the network reached a value of 41,688, and the number of blocks at the time of the report climbed to 125,031. It is worth noting that the blocks also record excellent timing, as they are processed in intervals of just 5 seconds.

Shibarum’s first changes

The above results were achieved four days after the reboot of the Puppynet network. Its reboot took place on March 24 and was prompted by the need to change the Chain ID from 917 to 719. The purpose was to respond to rumors that Shibarium was running on code stolen from the Rinia project. We reported on these suspicions by market watchers in earlier articles.

The relaunch of the network resulted in a full reset of its statistics. Nevertheless, in most of their cases, new maximums have already been reached. Meanwhile, Shiba Inu’s chief developer, Shytoshi Kusama, remains steadfast in his concern for the community and warns it not to spend any real money on the Puppynet network. In doing so, he explains that this is a test solution only, and any transfer of real funds could lead to their complete loss.

Shiba Inu on the chart

Despite the positive news regarding Shibarium, Shiba Inu (SHIB) is becoming one of the cryptocurrency assets with the lowest volatility in recent times. Since mid-May, we have seen the SHIB price consolidate in a wide band between $0.000007 and $0.000018. In the meantime, there have been stronger breakouts, but each time there has been selling pressure, pulling the price down. Currently, the value of SHIB is oscillating around $0.00001075.

However, it is worth remembering that long periods of consolidation very often end with dynamic further movements.
